To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Senior Human Resources Manager opportunity, you will have:

  • 5+ years of HR management experience, including manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting at least 500 employees
  • Experience implementing new policies and procedures
  • Project management experience
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Business savvy
  • The ability to support leaders across the organization
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with MS Office
  • Experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems, preferably UKG, UltiPro or Kronos

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will be one of two HR Managers on the Charlotte campus. Each of you will oversee HR for a distinct business unit, but you can expect a good deal of collaboration. Reporting to you directly will be two HR Generalists and an HR Coordinator.

As the Senior HR Manager, you will support the ramp-up of operations to produce an innovative class of just-launched delivery vehicles. Initially, you'll invest a good deal of your time in recruiting, orienting, and onboarding new employees. In this effort, you'll partner with a contracted hiring vendor partner, with resources on site. We see this ramp up as an opportunity to implement and improve HR systems, processes, and procedures, and you will help implement those across the campus. On an ongoing basis, you'll ensure the operation has best-in-class HR support.
