To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Human Resources Coordinator opportunity, you will have:

  • At least one year of experience in roles demonstrating strong organizational and administrative skills, such as an HR Assistant or Administrative Assistant
  • Experience in human resources is preferred but not required
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems is preferred, ideally UKG, UltiPro or Kronos
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Reporting to an HR Manager, you will join a new team that also includes two HR Generalists. You will be responsible for providing administrative support and more to the team. The role may involve data entry, paperwork processing and filing, and you may be asked to do "one off" tasks, such as running errands to one of the five buildings on the campus.

Initially, much of your work will support the ramp-up of operations to produce an innovative class of just-launched delivery vehicles, especially staffing. We see this ramp up as an opportunity to implement and improve HR systems, and you will support those efforts. You also will be involved in an upcoming implementation of UKG (Ultimate-Kronos) software across the company.

We’re looking for a professional who has a strong sense of ownership and takes pride in a job well done. Accuracy is essential, as you will be helping create employee files. That also means you will need to maintain confidentiality. To excel in this role you will be versatile and flexible, and able to manage constantly changing priorities effectively.

You also will need to be self-directed. For example, if the Manager is out, you will see what needs to be done and take care of it. You should be able to take general direction and then work out the details and get the job done. There may be times when you back up the generalists, giving you an opportunity to grow your skills even further.
