Take Ownership of an Important Aftermarket Supply Chain Position and Make an Impact While Adding to Your Skills and Experience

If you combine material planning experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally including aftermarket durable goods, with excellent forecasting skills and the ability to concisely and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, the role of demand planner / sourcing agent offers you some compelling opportunities. You will:
  • Make an impact as you create accurate forecasts, over both the short and long terms, to support Aftermarket Sales and Operations.
  • Add to your skills and experience through strong training, the support of a seasoned team, and ample opportunities to learn. For example, while aftermarket and truck/automotive experience is preferred, we'll help you fill in any knowledge gaps. Additionally, there are some exciting projects underway, meaning you can work beyond your job description.
  • Enjoy wide visibility as you work with people in a variety of functional areas from the Warehouse group to Quality, Sales, Finance and others, and gain a broad understanding of our operations.
  • Enjoy an interesting, dynamic and rewarding role, working with a large inventory -- we support between 10-15,000 aftermarket SKUs.
  • Enjoy the stability and resources of an industry leader with a history of success and strong and stable financials. As other companies are contracting, we continue to grow, even during the pandemic. In fact, this role is being added to help us meet increasing demands.
Utilimaster moves ahead of the competition when commercial trucks and upfit services require precision, planning, peerless people, and the perfect vehicle. Our vehicles deliver for well-respected global brands in the package delivery, ecommerce, food and beverage, linen and laundry, grocery and pharmaceutical markets. Utilimaster is a top-tier go-to-market brand of The Shyft Group (NASDAQ: SHYF), North America's leader in specialty vehicle manufacturing, assembly, and upfit for the commercial, retail, and service specialty vehicle markets. The Shyft Group rebranded in 2020 to reflect a new focus on high-growth end markets to help ensure long-term profitable growth.

Pictured: Utilimaster's Velocity F-Series offers big-truck interior space without requiring a commercial driver's license -- thus expanding the pool of potential drivers for fleet operators. You will see these vehicles on the road and be able to tell friends and family, "I'm part of the team that builds those."
